Your to-do list is patient. Gravity isn't.

Super Focus is a focus-interrupt app for ADHD brains. When a task you can't skip comes due, a black hole takes over every screen. You do the task, or you spend one of three escapes. There is no third option, and that's the point.

The problem

Every reminder you own is opt-in.

ADHD brains run on interest and urgency, not importance. Medication, the daily report, the weekly review: neither novel nor on fire, so they land in a blind spot. Notifications get swiped. Calendar alerts get dismissed on autopilot. To-do apps become graveyards.

The failure isn't laziness. It's that every reminder asks for attention, and attention is exactly what's scarce. Super Focus stops asking.

How it works

01

The gravity checkpoint

At the scheduled time, every display fades into a black hole. Dock gone, menu bar gone, other apps gone. The task name hangs in the glow. You can't swipe it away because there's nothing left to swipe to.

02

Inside the horizon

Choose "Enter the horizon" and the black hole calms. A countdown ring runs for the task's estimated duration, and nothing else is on screen. When it ends: You made it through. Want out early? Type the exact task name to burn one of three escape pods (10, 15, then 20 minutes). Each one makes the pull stronger when it returns.

03

Quick capture, ⌘K

Zero friction on the way in, all of it on the way out. A global shortcut opens a three-field dialog: title, cadence, time. Sane defaults fill the rest. The idea is captured before it evaporates; you can fuss over strictness levels later, if you remember to.

“It never fires during a meeting. It escalates instead of nagging. And every escape costs you something you'll notice.”

One engine, every screen you own.

The scheduling engine runs fully offline on each device. The server only syncs; if it vanishes, the black hole still shows up.
